Annual Friendship Tea

The Commonwealth (VA) Chapter had an amazing time celebrating with sisters from all over at the @richmondvalinks Annual Friendship Tea. Our fabulous sister, Billie, won first place in the “Tea Strut Competition”. Thank you Richmond Chapter for an afternoon of friendship and fun!

Honoring the Richmond 34

The Commonwealth (VA) Chapter of the Links, Inc attended the first day of painting for a mural to honor the Richmond 34, the 34 VUU students who participated in the 1960 Thalhimers lunch counter sit-in and helped desegregate the City of Richmond. The @rpaalliance partnered with Hamilton Glass and VUU graduate, Germany Ray, to create a mural honoring the Richmond 34.
